This app used to work....

This app has suddenly stopped working since iOS 8. Every time I try to scan a bar code a pop up message appears with a long numeric code. Tap OK and try to proceed and the same unexplained message code re-appears.
Very disappointing to get such a none sense error code.
Tried uninstalling the App, re downloading and re-installing it but the problem persists as of December 25, 2014.
